2015 Schedule

LIST OF FILMS | AWARD WINNERS | FESTIVAL PHOTOS

Our broad collection of films this year takes us all over the world, delving into an array of fascinating subjects from ecology to particle physics. We witness the process of war veterans reinventing themselves through dance and join in the intricate hand-clapping games of young girls. Choreographers push boundaries with new technology and new movement styles, combining classical ballet with urban dance and Gaga-like improvisational practices. Inside peeks behind the scenes of top companies and into the lives of dance mavericks shed light on the highly individual creative process.

Join us in San Francisco for a celebration of dance, film, and community, October 8-11 at the Brava Theater Center. Can’t decide on which films to see? For the best value, buy a festival pass and experience everything!
