Description

Afterthought is an excerpt from the performance Synaptic Motion by Capacitor, which explores the neuroscience of creativity. In Afterthought you see a dance that was choreographed while lying in an MRI machine. How is it that we can visualize and compose movement while laying still? What then happens as we remember, repeat, teach, learn, vary, and refine that movement which allows us to express unexplainable emotion and human experience? How does the experience of the piece change when we remember it after the performance? These are the questions explored in this dance film.
