Description

A dance film about a boy that says farewell to his mother. Choreographer and filmmaker Jakop Ahlbom and Boudewijn Koole investigate the transition from one state of consciousness to another. They questioned the dualistic thinking that the world is simply divided into body and soul, heaven and hell, life and death in their eyes. How hard is the limit?

A room. A table and two chairs. A slender woman of 50 and a boy 12 They move, play. A game of mother and child. Feet. Breathe. And little smiles. Until the sudden separation of the hands of women. He remains standing, feet on the ground. She comes loose, floats and disappears in a wall of water.
