Vanishing Points
Description
Like two molecules unknowingly affecting one another in space, conceptual hip-hop dancers collide and share fleeting moments of intimate synchronicity on the streets of Montreal. Sucked into a choreographic time warp, viewers slowly realize things are not always as they seem.
Directed by filmmaker Marites Carino, Vanishing Points is a visual exploration of the power of momentary connection within an otherwise disconnected world. Set along the edges of a soon-to-be demolished triangular heritage building, two individuals inhabit separate spaces, dancing alone, yet unknowingly influencing one another.
