How to Watch

Welcome to the 2020 San Francisco Dance Film Festival. We are excited to present our first-ever digital festival available for streaming through a special arrangement with Marquee TV. Festival programs will be available for streaming on the Marquee TV platform beginning Sunday, October 18 at 12 PM (PST) through Sunday, October 25 at 11:59pm (PST).

While each program has a suggested viewing time, you are free to watch at any time you prefer.

Step 1: Purchase Ticket

Festival passes and individual tickets are available for purchase directly on Marquee TV.

Step 2: Enter Redemption Code

If you purchased your festival pass or ticket before October 16, you will be emailed a link along with an access code that will unlock your film of choice for viewing.

Step 3: Create Account on Marquee TV

After entering your redemption code on the Marquee TV website, you will be required to create a FREE account, if you don’t already have one.

Step 4: Watch Films

After creating your account and logging in, you will have continuous access to your film choices during the entire festival dates. Films can be located in the “My Videos/Library” tab on Marquee TV.

Viewing Options

Marquee TV App

All content can be viewed through the Marquee TV app on supported devices. You will need to first download the Marquee TV app and then login to your free Marquee TV account. Additional information is available via the link below.

Device Questions (iOS, Android, Roku, Amazon, Samsung, etc)

Computer/Phone/Tablet

AirPlay – using your AirPlay enabled device or SmartTV (Apple TV and most recent Samsung TVs). Instructions for screen sharing using your Apple TV using AirPlay can be found here.  

HDMI Cable – to connect your computer to your television. Please note: HDMI cable will not work with iPhone/iPad.  

  • If you have a laptop or nearby computer with an HDMI port, you can connect it directly to your television, using it as a second monitor. That said, connection details will depend on your setup. We recommend referencing your television’s manual for more information. 

ChromecastChromecast lets you cast our films from Android smartphone, Android tablet, or PC/Mac computer to your TV by selecting the cast button () in the bottom right-hand side of the player. Please note: both the device and TV must be on the same Wi-Fi network for Chromecast to work.  Chromecast will not work with iPhone/iPad.
