Look the Part, Claire Fletcher

Look the Part

Talent comes in all shapes and sizes, and can often defy expectations.

Sam, a cleaner working in a large theatre, has a passion for dance but is too shy to realize her dreams. When Peaches (her magical, inner-diva-drag queen) materializes one night, Sam’s dreams transform into reality – she rips up a daring dance number to the rhythm of The Cat Empire’s beats. “Look The Part” shows us that talent comes in all shapes and sizes, and can often defy expectations.

The People’s Palace

In this black-and white image, a silhoutted dancer stands in a dark room, curling their hands in a dramatic, insect-like pose as bright light streams through a tall window behind them. The sparse room contains a small bed, desk, and lamp, creating a moody atmosphere.

Boys a Bug

A person wrapped in a dark hood looks above the camera with their mouth slightly agape and a confused expression, their face softly illuminated by a warm orange glow. Hazy, smoky surroundings create a mysterious, otherworldly desolate scene behind them.

Long Long Time

A group of young ballet dancers in matching white leotards and skirts practice together in a bright studio, raising their arms above their heads in synchronized positions. Behind them, a brown ballet barre is mounted to a white wall, and sunlight streams in through a window off-camera illuminating one of the young dancers.
