ABOUT THE ARTIST

Gabriel “Wicket” Jaochico began his journey in Hip Hop in 1991, inspired by San Francisco’s vibrant breaking scene. After joining the legendary Renegade Rockers, he went on to perform in Las Vegas’s Madhattan, sharing the stage with icons like the Rock Steady Crew and Electric Boogaloos. His signature style and artistry led him to choreograph for stars including Usher, Will Smith, and Christina Aguilera, and to appear in the iconic dance film You Got Served. Today, with over 30 years of experience, Wicket continues to share his craft as an educator at Texas State University.
