The fifth film from AM Dance Productions, “Echo” continues the company’s mission to place dance at the heart of narrative storytelling. Inspired by Gene Kelly’s iconic “Alter Ego Dance” from Cover Girl (1944), this piece reimagines that classic sensibility for a contemporary audience. Featuring legendary actor Peter Francis James and rising dance talent John Michael Fiumara, the film blends character, movement, and homage in a reflection on what was, what is, and what might be.
