“A Return to Movement” is a vertical dance film celebrating the environmental restoration of the Klamath River. Performed on rigging over the water, dancers embody the power and urgency of ecological repair in response to the world’s largest dam removal project. With choreography by Lauren Godla and Kara Starkweather, and production support from the California Creative Corps, the film transforms motion into a form of reverence and reclamation.
