“The Other Within”(一身万物) is an experimental dance film exploring the multiplicity of the self through a body caught in recursive loops of time and identity. Inspired by the fragmented personas of Claude Cahun and the layered cinematic language of Sarah Pucill, the film unfolds through mirrored encounters where the self becomes both subject and stranger. Through repetition, reflection, and shifting space, the body inhabits parallel versions of itself—suspended between inner fracture and boundless becoming.
This film appears in both the China Moves and Bay Area Shorts programs.
