A journey that begins in the heart of a strange city, “Passaging” depicts the tribulations of moving between places and spaces. Faced with the unfamiliar, confined by the familiar, the protagonist finds purpose through movement as she navigates the ambivalent terrain that stretches between cultural spheres, in search of herself. “Passaging” is the procedure of harvesting cells from a culture, transferring the cells to one or more culture vessels with fresh growth medium, and using those cells to start new cultures.
