“The Story of a Mushroom” is an experimental dance film centered on bodily narrative. Through surreal visual language and allegorical structure, it explores contemporary women’s identity crises, self-alienation, and spiritual predicaments within a globalized context. This work constitutes not merely a visual experiment exploring ‘the body as a narrative medium,’ but also an attempt to engage with contemporary global issues concerning female autonomy, mental well-being, and identity liberation. Through its poetic visual language, it seeks to awaken viewers to the imperative of safeguarding authentic selves and the integrity of humanity.
