“SFDFF On The Road” is San Francisco Dance Film Festival’s Touring Program. As part of our ongoing outreach efforts to bring dance to a wider audience, DANCE FILM SFis offering the rental of one of our annual highlight reels of curated shorts from previous years’ festival programming. These rentals are available as streaming, limited-use content and are intended for educational use by libraries and nonprofit cultural institutions or for small or new film festivals (worldwide) that do not currently have the resources to curate their own programming. By special request, we may offer multiple viewings for approved educational institutions that will assign controlled viewings of a package as part of their syllabus coursework. These touring packages are NOT FOR COMMERCIAL SALE.

The license fee includes permission to screen a touring reel of choice, PLUS a print-ready PDF program for self-printing and distributing to your students/patrons. We’ll also include promotional film stills.

Featuring work by Bay Area and international filmmakers, this eclectic program is a comical and playful mix of artistic disciplines and styles.

Raising Voices (RV22)
SFDFF’s 4th annual Raising Voices program features moving stories of immigration, colonialism, and the search for cultural identity. Makers from diverse backgrounds champion their causes through a provocative collision of dance, storytelling, poetry and music.

Audience Favorites (AF20)
SFDFF’s 2020 reel features twelve films from five countries in just under one hour. Enjoy romps through the Parisian cityscape and festive Argentinian tango gatherings alongside resilient originals made under COVID constraints.
