Support our 10th Anniversary Festival

Our innovative programming reframes the possibilities of dance, introduces dance to those who might not typically attend live performances, supports artists, and showcases both local and international talent to Bay Area audiences. As we reach the 10 year milestone, we’re more inspired than ever by the potential of dance films to provoke and transform us all.

Please help support us with a donation and become part of our growing community.

In its seventh year, the Co-Laboratory has gone high tech! For the 2019 Co-Laboratory, Dance Film SF paired Jodi Lomask, the founder and artistic director of Capacitor, and Bhautik Joshi, senior research engineer at Adobe, for the creation of a new virtual reality work Into the Neural Forest. Our shoot took place on June 28 and 29 at CounterPulse.

Merce Cunningham Past and Present

Special thanks to everyone who came out to help us celebrate Merce Cunningham’s past and present. Margaret Jenkins and other former Cunningham dancers Karen Attix, Charles Moulton, and editor Bill Yahraus joined us for a fascinating discussion following the screening of Assemblage.
