Finding Me at Catharine Clark Gallery
What does it mean to be a man? What does it mean to be a woman? What does it mean to be American? Or Chinese? Or African? What if I don’t fit into these boxes? Sometimes when there are no clear answers, art-making is the way to connect with who we really are.
In Finding Me, discover how screen dance unleashes new possibilities for fluid self-expression. Moving through sexuality, gender, and family relations, these international shorts deftly explore how identities can constrain but also release.
Program includes an exclusive live performance by San Francisco Ballet principal dancer Benjamin Freemantle
