A film by Safety Third Productions, VORTICES is a screen dance featuring aerial cinematography by Sinziana Velicescu, which sees a kaleidoscope of dancers inhabit an austere desert landscape with impressive athleticism and attack. Directed by choreographer Katherine Helen Fisher with Michael Shedlin and set to a driving score by new music composer Anna Meredith, NAUTILUS is constructed in the minimalistic tradition of Babette Mangolte and Lucinda Childs.
