Directed and choreographed by Savannah Dunn, “Silence” is a bold experimental film combining original poetry, dance, and provocative imagery. Set within the walls of CounterPulse in San Francisco, the work confronts the political and spiritual control over women’s bodies, drawing inspiration from feminist art pioneers like Judy Chicago. This inaugural film from Berkeley-based company Other Place serves as a raw, ritualistic protest – a meditation on power and agency.
